Heather Ewart first covered Europe for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation from London in 1982.

From 1990 to 1994 Heather reported from Washington as North America Correspondent, covering the Gulf War, the election of Bill Clinton and the Waco disaster.

She has been part of the ABC's Brussels bureau since early 2000 with a brief that extends the length of continental Europe.

Heather is one of the ABC's most experienced and skilled reporters and presenters. She has reported for TV and radio news and current affairs programs and has presented live TV News bulletins.

Heather was also Chief Political Correspondent in Canberra for ABC radio.
