"Ewart is a very small place, not far from the town of Wooler in North Northumberland. I don't have exact information on the population but to give you an idea of how small it is there are only 18 residents of Ewart on the electoral register.

"Ewart is actually the name of the place - there is a street (if I can call it that) of 3 houses called Newtown. Altogether there are only 13 properties on the electoral register.

"The place therefore is too small for us to have any information about it other than what I can supply here".

Your Webmaster drove out one day to look for Ewart. He found this direction sign, allegedly 1.25 miles away from the village. He followed the track but never found another sign any closer. He plans to return one day when he has more time.
